According to the data, at least 214 workers lost their lives in work-related incidents during the month. The victims include 11 women, 12 children, and 14 refugees.

The report detailed the causes of workers’ deaths. Traffic accidents accounted for 19 percent of fatalities, crushing incidents for 18 percent, and falls from height for 15 percent.

The report also provided a breakdown of fatalities by sector. The construction and road sector recorded the highest number of deaths, with 58 workers, accounting for 27 percent of the total. This was followed by agriculture and forestry, where 45 workers lost their lives, representing 21 percent of all fatalities.

In the transportation sector, 20 workers died, accounting for 9 percent of the total, while 18 workers lost their lives in the shipbuilding and shipyard sector, representing 8 percent. A further 12 workers died in the trade and office sector, accounting for 6 percent of all work-related fatalities.
